What is print-on-demand? Why does SailPin use it?
Print-on-demand means every SailPin product is made to order — nothing sits in a warehouse. When you place an order, it goes to our fulfillment partner, who prints, embroiders, or engraves it specifically for you. This lets us offer a wide catalog without overproduction or waste. It's the honest, sustainable way to run a small brand.
Are SailPin products high quality?
Yes. We're selective about blanks and production methods. Our hats use structured, structured-front construction with quality embroidery. Our tees and hoodies start with premium-weight blanks. We review samples and only list products we'd wear ourselves on the water.
Can I customize a product with my boat name or sail number?
Not through the standard store — all products ship as listed. If you're interested in custom or bulk orders for a club, regatta, or crew, email us at info@sailpin.com and we'll talk through options.
Do you offer gift cards?
Not yet, but it's on our list. In the meantime, you can always email us and we'll help you find the right gift.
Sizing
How do I know what size to order?
Check our Size Guide before ordering. It includes measurement tables for tees, hoodies, hats, and totes. Because every product is made to order, we can't accept size exchanges — so it's worth taking two minutes to measure.
Do your products run true to size?
Generally yes. Tees and hoodies run true to size with a relaxed fit. If you prefer a snugger fit, size down on hoodies. Hats are adjustable and fit most adult head sizes. See the Size Guide for specifics.
Shipping
How long will my order take?
Orders go through two stages: production (3–7 business days), then shipping. For US orders, add 3–5 business days for delivery. Total estimated time is 6–12 business days for domestic orders. International orders take 10–28 business days total. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide. International shipping times vary by destination (typically 7–21 business days after production). Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes. You'll receive an email with a tracking number once your order ships. Allow 24–48 hours for tracking to update after you receive the email.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Contact us at info@sailpin.com as quickly as possible. If your order hasn't entered production yet, we can update the address. Once it's in production, changes may not be possible.
Returns & Issues
What is your return policy?
Because every product is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges for sizing errors or change of mind. However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we'll replace it or refund it — no hassle. Report issues within 14 days of delivery with a photo to info@sailpin.com. My order hasn't arrived — what should I do?
First, check your tracking number for updates. If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it, check with neighbors and your local carrier. If the issue isn't resolved, email us at info@sailpin.com and we'll investigate.
